Dragonfly Paddling is a small, friendly company devoted exclusively to teaching canoeing. We love to canoe and we love to teach. We are flexible, and work hard to meet individual needs and learning styles. We promote a stress-free learning environment, while upholding the high standards set by the Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association.
We offer Basic and Canadian Style canoeing courses, a Basic Instructor course, a Camp Canoeing Instructor course, and 3 hour beginning canoeing courses. Course sizes are kept small, ensuring lots of time for individualized attention from the instructor. ORCKA certification is granted to those successfully meeting course requirements.
Courses take place at Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area, which is halfway between Cambridge and Brantford, about one hour west of Toronto.
